Give Your Candle a Second Life

At Dragonfly Fragrances, our candle vessels are thoughtfully designed to have a beautiful, purposeful life long after the wax is gone. With just a few simple steps, you can easily clean out your candle vessel at home and transform it into something you'll enjoy for years to come.

Once the wax has completely cooled, we recommend using a rubber or silicone spatula to gently remove the remaining wax and wick. We don't recommend using metal or other hard utensils, as they can scratch the beautiful glass.

After you've removed as much wax as possible, use a hair dryer on the highest heat setting to melt any residual wax. Wipe it out with paper towels, then finish cleaning the vessel with a little rubbing alcohol to remove any remaining residue.

Our favorite ways to reuse the vessels are as planters or to hold cotton balls, cotton swabs, makeup brushes, or other bathroom essentials. They also make beautiful decorative storage containers on a vanity, kitchen counter, desk, or anywhere around the home.
